Why Microchurches
We believe that people make up the church. Not buildings, titles, or budgets. You can’t go to church… you are the church. So whenever believers come together and are committed to loving God, insiders, and outsiders, they are the church.
Following Jesus means much more than simply attending a large group gathering on Sunday mornings. While we believe and affirm the importance of the large church gathering, we also affirm and acknowledge the value of the small church where people can be known, loved, and grow in ways that simply cannot happen at the large church gathering. Life is best lived in the company of friends and other disciples, which is why Jesus Himself created a small community with whom He pursued His mission.
Microchurches serve as an ongoing discipleship setting where faith and everyday life intentionally intersect in the context of a community that is passionate about loving God and in turn loving people, both inside and outside the church.
Our microchurches vary in structure and mission, each having their own unique expression and purpose for meeting.
