Internship Board
The following are the internship tracks that are being offered in the Fall of 2012. Looking for more information on any of these tracks? Email us at fai@first-assembly.org!
1. Missionary: This track will help prepare you for missionary work through developing a missional paradigm and living missionally here in Gainesville. It is for those who feel a call to serve the disenfranchised and downtrodden, and want to start right here in our own city. We have a wide variety of programs launched to help serve our city that you will be a part of, including a tutoring program at Lincoln Middle school, a mentoring program at Eastside High School, and several various ministries including a weekly “Kid’s Church," elementary-age tutoring and varied community development initiatives in Carver Gardens, a neighborhood near our Lincoln service. You will also be part of leading a foreign missions trip through the church.
2. Operations: This track will allow you to obtain a global perspective of the church as a whole. You will be working alongside the Operations Director and facilitating all kinds of global as well as everyday decisions in the church.
3. Youth: This track is for those who have a calling to youth ministry. You will learn and help lead the SWEAT youth group and all of its various aspects alongside our Youth Pastor.
4. Children: This track is for those who have a calling to kid's ministry. You will learn and help lead the the One Way children's ministry and all of its various aspects alongside our Children's Pastor.
